Solid commitment is required to join the Performance Team. If you are unable to commit fully to the program it is best to attend regular class programs instead. Aerial is physically and mentally
demanding and takes repeated practice to learn. In order to teach young aerialists the challenging choreography and prepare them for performances, excellent attendance to class
and rehearsals is critical.
New this Year: Junior Team
By invitation 14+
All Performance Teams take a Mixed Apparatus (which may include an invented apparatus) class and a Silks class each week. There is also a movement component to class each week, designed to teach students musicality and expression, while integrating these skills into flowing on and off stage as well as any apparatus.
Senior and Advanced Performance Teams
are also required to take one additional class. This class will be offered at a 50% discount to any performance team members.
Junior and Intermediate Performance Teams
are welcome to take an optional third class that would also receive the 50% discount.
Some key dates:
• The Halloween shows will be on Friday October 25th and Saturday October 26th. The show will take place throughout the CITT building.
• The Christmas show is TBD (coming very soon).
• Students wanting to join the Performance Team need to meet all Level 3 requirements for Silks
and Mixed Apparatus and get permission from Program Director, Sabrina Pringle.
